Blood Type O Difficult Pregnancy, Why?(Golongan Darah O Sulit Hamil, Kenapa?)

Labels:
Blood type O is most common in the world. Unfortunately, the researchers found that women with blood group was found to increase risk of fertility problems until doubled. Thus, the age increases, women will also be difficult o get pregnant.
Nearly half the female population in the UK (44 percent) had blood group O. As many as 42 percent have blood type A and 14 percent AB. Many women who do not know what blood type, and just knowing when to donate blood or to undergo testing when sick or pregnant.
Well, according to American researchers, those with type O blood tend to have low ovarian reserve (the remaining number of eggs that are still healthy) than any other blood type. In fact, this ovarian reserve itself will decrease throughout the life of women. Newborn baby girl has 2 million eggs, but when entering puberty declined in number to 400,000. Once women entered the age of 40 years, the amount will be left a few hundred.
To get this discovery, researchers from Yale University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York, tested the blood group 563 women under age 45, who was a fertility treatment. They compared the levels of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), the chemical in the blood, on the respondent. FSH levels are high (over 10) indicates that a woman has a low ovarian reserve and will be difficult to conceive.
Those with blood group O tend to have a FSH level above 10 up to two times that. While that her FSH levels above 20 are considered infertile. Therefore, the researchers say, women can make a decision later when it will begin to get pregnant based on blood type this.
Nevertheless, many women who managed to type O have children because there are a number of other factors that affect fertility, such as age, weight, and alcohol consumption.
"We found that women with blood type A and AB, women with blood group A gene, protected from the problems of decreased ovarian reserve," said Dr. Edward Nejat from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Another problem faced by the blood group A is an increased risk of arthritis and stomach infections caused by bacteria such as E. coli, while the type A and AB tend to suffer from heart disease and stroke.
